Pack 733 is located in Winfield, Maryland and has been in existence for over 55 years now. Most Den and Pack meetings are held at the Winfield Elementary School. Pack 733 would like to express our thanks to the school for use of their facilities and to the Winfield P.T.A. for sponsoring our Pack.
Pack 733 is a strong organization of adult volunteers and enthusiastic boys. Without our volunteers the pack would not exist and there is always need for new people to coordinate and help with events. The Pack is guided by a Pack Committee that plans, organizes, and oversees all functions. Thank you to all who have stepped up to help the boys have a great time and learn how to be a Cub Scout.
The Cub Scout organization for this area is centered in Baltimore. The Baltimore Area Council has existed for 100 years and is divided into Districts. The Carroll District covers our area and is divided into Packs. Pack 733, being one of these, is further divided into Dens. Each Den, about 6-8 boys in size, organize the boys into age groups defined by the rank associated with that age level. If we have more than 10 boys in a particular den, we then start to talk about dividing it into two dens.
When attending events at Winfield Elementary, please enter and exit through the cafeteria doors at the rear of the school. Please bring non-perishable food items (canned or boxed) to help restock the food pantry for the Ebenezer United Methodist Church where many of our den and Committee meetings are held.
The Class A uniform is worn at all Pack and Den meetings unless otherwise specified.
The scout year starts June 1st and we welcome any boy that will be going into 1st through 5th grade in the fall. If your son is home-schooled we would love to have your family join us as well. Check back for more information about our upcoming events. All the boys meet together for a pack meeting every month and there are always Den meetings you can visit to see how much fun we have!
